Concept of Marma in Ayurveda
Ayurvedic anatomy explains 107 Marmas, which are the vital points in our body through which Prana, which is subtle energy flows. We can say that Marma is the seat of life energy, where the sensation of pain is felt more. Knowledge of Marma is necessary for physicians as well as surgeons. Gentle prescribed stimulation of specific Marma points can help to relax the body, relieve pain, and restore balance. This course will enhance your knowledge about Marma and its application in the management of diseases.
This course has the following units –
Unit 1 – Basic Principles & Philosophy of Ayurveda
Unit 2 – Introduction to the concept of Marma& classification in Ayurveda
Unit 3 – Important marmas in our body
Unit 4 – Clinical Significance of Marma
Course Duration: Minimum 8 days –Maximum 1 month
Requires: 8 hours of study in total (flexible, spread for the study)
