Introductory course on Ayurveda
This course is specially designed for beginners in the field of Ayurveda & keen to know the basics of Ayurveda. This course will give you an overview of the science of life and will help you start your journey in the world of Ayurveda. Ayurveda is the science, which teaches us the art of healthy living. The course gives you a short introduction to this science, its origin, aims, and objectives. Different branches of Ayurveda, and a detailed description of the important concepts of Ayurveda, have been covered under this course. ¬
This course has the following units –
Unit 1 – Basic principles & philosophy of Ayurveda
Unit 2 – Concept of Doshas (The biological humors)
Unit 3 – Concept of Dhatu, Updhatus, and Mala (The tissues and the excreta)
Unit 4 – Prakriti – The body constitution
Course Duration: Minimum 8 days – Maximum 30 days,
Requires: 8 hours of study in total (flexible, spread
for the study)
